Santa Claus Ball - English version

This time I prepared knitted pattern for those who don't like or are afraid of knitting in rounds.
Santa Claus ball with seaming.

English version Materials: - yarn  white and red First Class Rozetti (50g /126 yards), black leftovers
- 2,75mm  straight needles
- Tapestry needle   
- toy filling or staffing

 
Pattern 

 
Cast on 6 stitches using white thread.
Row 1 (RS): k1, * kfb to last stitch, k1

 
Row 2 and all WS rows:  p all 

 
Row 3:  k1, *k1, m1 repeat from * to the last stitch, k1

Row 5:  k1, *k1, m1, k1 repeat from * to the last stitch, k1

 
Row 7:   k1, *k1, m1, k2 repeat from * to the last stitch, k1

 

Row 9: k1,   *k1, m1, k3 repeat from *  to the last stitch, k1

 

Row 11:  k1,  *k1, m1, k4 repeat from * to the last stitch, k1

 
Row 13,15, 17, 197 :  k

Row 21:  k1, *k1, k2tog, k3 repeat from * to the last stitch, k1

 

Row 23:  k1, *k1, k2tog, k2 repeat from * to the last stitch, k1

 

Row 25: k1,  *k1, k2tog, k1 repeat from * to the last stitch, k1

Row 27:  k1, *k1, k2tog repeat from * to the last stitch, k1

 

Row 29:   k1,  *k2tog repeat from * to the last stitch, k1

Row 31: *k2tog repeat from * to the end

 

Break the yarn leaving about 10 inches, weave through all stitches on needles, tighten the stitches. Sew the ball putting the filling in.

Now knit the hat.

Santa Claus' hat

Cast on 42 stitches using white yarn

Row 1: k all

Row 2: ptb all

Row 3: k1, 40 loops, k1

Now attach red yarn

Row 4:  p all

Row 5: ptb all

Row 6: k all

Row 7: p all

Row 8 : k8, ssk, k2, k2tog , k14, ssk, k2, k2tog, k8
Row 9: p all
Row 10: k all
Row 11: p all
Row 12 : k7, ssk, k2, k2tog , k12, ssk, k2, k2tog, k7

Next 3 rows knit like rows 9 - 11

Row 16 : k6, ssk, k2, k2tog , k10, ssk, k2, k2tog, k6

Next 3 rows knit like rows 9 - 11

Row 20 : k5, ssk, k2, k2tog , k8, ssk, k2, k2tog, k5

Next 3 rows knit like rows 9 - 11

Row 24 : k4 ssk, k2, k2tog , k8, ssk, k2, k2tog, k4

Next 3 rows knit like rows 9 - 11

Row 28 : k3, ssk, k2, k2tog , k6, ssk, k2, k2tog, k3

Next 3 rows knit like rows 9 - 11

Row 32 : k2, ssk, k2, k2tog , k4, ssk, k2, k2tog, k2

Next 3 rows knit like rows 9 - 11

Row 36 : k1, ssk, k2, k2tog , k2, ssk, k2, k2tog, k1

Next 3 rows knit like rows 9 - 11

Row 40 : k1, ssk,  k2tog , ssk,  k2tog, k1

Row 41: k all

Break the yarn leaving about 10 inches, weave through all stitches on needles, tighten the stitches.

 

Sew the hat and attach it to the ball. Embroider eyes and nose like in the photo.
